Portrait Diptychs


 I wanted to go with a more real life series. One that showed a controversy with friends and also a dilema on the struggle for height. On the top series it shows the change in height where at first one friend was the shorter one and then then after time passes she got taller and now is the one making fun of the shorter friend.
In my bottom series I show two best friends getting along but also fighting. Disregard one of them laughing during the fight but this shows that ever friendship will have there good times and bad times but at the end a friendship will last forever.

    More planning should have gone into shooting- the images are not in focus

    In this series the whole height difference and relationships with best friends is a good idea, but I feel like you should have gone deeper and strive for a better picture moment within the models.I feel like your best series is the bottom two pictures. The picture where the two were fighting gives it a little action. At first, I was a bit confused of what you were trying to come across and if the first two on the top is height difference, make sure you shoot the whole body of the models to send out the message you are trying to come across. The pictures look a bit blurry, a result of lack of focusing into your photographs. But overall good job on your lighting. The light is naturally lit onto your models and that was a success. I also liked the fact that the models were used throughout which shows your comfortable with them and is able to bring out the best into your portraits. Good job though :)
